It has been such an exciting week in Willow class!
The children had a great day on Monday experiencing a Victorian school day. We wore our Victorian outfits and had to be on our best behaviour all day!
Instead of writing in our literacy and maths books, we had to use black paper and chalk. We learnt about the 3 Rs: Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. We even had to use an abacus to help us solve our maths learning.
We went outside for Victorian games and practised rolling a hoop, playing blind man’s buff and hopscotch, among other games.
Mrs Taylor even came in to carry out a hygiene inspection and was generally very pleased!
