Year 3, Measuring Magnetic Forces, 26.11.20
Today in Year 3, we used force metres to measure the magnetic forces of our magnets. We recorded our results into a table to help us remember which magnets were the strongest and which magnets were the weakest. I wonder if you were surprised by how strong magnets can be?
In year 3, we have been exploring magnets through magnetic testing. We used the different types of magnets to investigate lots of different magnetic materials. I wonder if you can find any other magnetic materials at home?
Yesterday in Oak class, we explored the Fit Trail as part of our Mighty Metals science topic. When we were exploring the trail, we were thinking about metals, forces and magnets. The children were discussing how they think the playground equipment moves.
