Ebony Class – Last swimming session at Hazeldown: 27/1/17

What a great end to a fantastic block of swimming for Ebony class.  They have all learnt life saving techniques, understood what it was like to swim in clothes as well as understand about rip currents and how to get themselves out and to safety.

I have been the incredibly impressed with the determination shown by all alongside the sheer bravery of others.  We ended on a high with a longer play session and maybe a few being pushed in, but the atmosphere has been on of support and enthusiasm this whole block.

Adding to that, to have the coach driver say they are the politest children he had carried with their ‘thank yous’ and the leisure centre staff saying how quiet and well behaved is a testament to them. Well done Ebony class for being such ambassadors for the school!
