We’ve had another brilliant week in Fir class! It’s been lovely catching up with so many of you and thank you for continuing to send in work, pictures and videos. It’s great to see all the exciting things you’ve been doing at home!
Issy baked a delicious looking cake, along with learning some culinary skills in the kitchen, whilst Callum created his own fitness video, with lots of different exercises.
Hugo has been very busy outside in the garden painting the fence, watering plants and planting carrots. Amelia had a go at the PE Tennis Challenge and showed resilience by trying again, even when she found it tricky.
Owen has been extremely busy earning Cubs badges. He earned a Hobbies badge for Archery and Nights Away badges by camping outside and learning to cook on an open fire. He made a Banoffee pie as part of Beltane Celebrations. He learnt how to extract clay from soil, used copper sulphate to grow seed crystals and took part in Scouts Virtual Camping where they broke a world record!
Lots of Fir class have been writing the ending to the story 1066 I Was There. Here are some examples from Evelyn, Alex and Oliver. Well done Fir class!
