We were very lucky today to have a visit from one of our mums who is a dental nurse. Along with her colleague, a dentist, she talked to us about how to keep our teeth sparkly clean and healthy.
We learnt that we should be cleaning our teeth twice a day for two minutes and to try and drink water or milk and eat healthy food like vegetables, cheese and yoghurt. Sweets, fruit juices and chocolate should be enjoyed in moderation as they are very sugary and these can harm our teeth.
We are sending home a special chart to encourage healthy teeth cleaning habits over the summer holidays. Have fun filling them in! ??
