Foundation Stage were amazed by volcanic eruptions. Using a combination of baking soda, vinegar and food colouring we watched as a chemical reaction took place. ” Lava” spewed from the top in a bubbling mass. This was followed by volcanic art using splatter paint techniques. Maybe you could try this at home?
