Maple Class have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes this week. Our challenge today was to test our new shape facts and shape vocabulary, by playing a guess my shape game in pairs.
We set up a barrier between ourselves to ensure no peeping, while taking it in turns to ask our partner some interesting questions about the shape properties.
Has it got…? Does it have…? Is it a…?
Tell someone at home the different language we used for 2D and 3D shape properties. Which shapes have sides and corners? Which shapes have faces, edges and vertices?
When did you feel you were ready to guess the shape? How many clues did you need to find first? Which clue gave the name of the shape away the quickest and why?
