Spaghetti and marshmallow maths in Willow class, whatever next! – 15.11.16

Carrying on with our current maths topic on shape, the children were set a challenge today – to use spaghetti as sides and marshmallows as corners to make 2D then 3D shapes. We watched as squares came together as faces on cubes and as triangles became pyramids. The children were so focused and driven that they asked for this activity to be left out in SOLE this afternoon.

Our next challenge is to work out how to add to our cubes to make them into cuboids.
