Yoga fun in Year One
Once again, a wet Monday prevented us from doing outdoor PE but, determined to get our daily dose of physical activity, we found a space in the classroom and started learning some yoga poses.
The children loved it and are keen to learn some other, more complicated, poses. We realised balance is important as well as remembering to breathe!
We discussed the benefits of yoga and focused breathing in helping us relax.
