Drawbridge Making, Year 1, 22.11.17
Today in year 1 we have been looking at designing and making drawbridges as part of our Castles topic.
We worked hard to collaborate together to make them and we showed lots of resilience by continuing to try even when we found parts difficult.
What did you enjoy most about making the drawbridges?
What part did you find the most difficult?
This morning, year 3 have peer marked their Big Writes from Friday. They collaborated to look at the things they had done well and the things that they could improve on next time. There were lots of great discussions about why different things were highlighted in pink and green.
Maple class drawing their own African animals after an inspirational workshop by the famous Shoo Rayner. The children enjoyed his visit and the learning was very apparent in their own artwork.
