Year 1, A parcel has arrived, 7.6.18
Today a parcel arrived for Year 1. Thanks to everyone who bought books at the book fair (and Mrs Cooke) we were able to order some lovely new books for our topic. We all voted on which one we would like to read first and shared the story all together.
As we roll forward into our final term together this year, please could I ask all pupils who have used the library this year to have a good search at home for any overdue library books that may be lurking around… Bring them….
Thank you!
This morning Monkey Puzzle are working hard to complete their Top Ten animal fact books that they have been creating this half term. Some fantastic art work is being finished off alongside some great factual information!
We can’t wait to see the finished results!
Year 5 have been busy making books this afternoon, using a Japanese bind. The children have continued to show great enthusiasm for making these books and have begun their research about their Top 10 animals. We can’t wait to finish them and share them with you!
The children’s completed books are now up on display in the Year 6 corridor.
Come and have a read and look at their fantastic illustrations, but remember to be careful and put them back when you have finished!
Holly’s books are finally finished and so we invited Willow to come and share them with us. We are very proud of them and really enjoyed having the opportunity to share them with the younger children. Please come and see them too next Friday…
This afternoon, Maple class visited year 6 to hear the brilliant children’s stories that they have created. The children have written and built their own book during literacy and SOLE and were extremely proud to show off their fantastic creations.
