Willow team building
We were given a challenge today to work as a team to build a tower out of newspaper and masking tape. The rules were that the tower had to stand up by itself, be as tall as it could be and pass the ‘puff test’. The children were put into table teams and had to talk, plan and experiment to achieve their goal. Collaboration was the aim of the game and our key learning value. We also used resilience, developed relationships and resourcefulness to succeed. We did have overall winner, but everyone was fantastic at completing the challenge.
What other team building challenges will we have?
Look what I caught this morning? During Carousel time, I spotted 4 children interacting and pushing their learning forward in maths by answering questions on our working wall. I was incredibly impressed to see the focus and collaboration skills amongst the group and the initiative to have a go without prompting. Does anyone else in their class do this?
