KS2 Cross Country Running Club
Storm? What storm?!
This afternoon, a brave group of runners battled the elements to participate in the fourth of six cross country club outings. Storm Angus left large puddles and a particularly squelchy school field / quagmire…perfect weather for cross country running! The conditions made it tougher to run so some of us were unable to reach our weekly two mile target. However, great fun was had by all!
Fortunately, our running was considerably quicker than the speed at which I’ve been posting our weekly distances. So, to keep you informed, screenshots of our last three weeks’ efforts are provided.
Well done to all and a massive thank you to Mrs Mayhew and Mrs Carpenter for helping us out over the last four weeks. 🙂
See you all next Monday!
The children are already starting to put the wet weather gear on independently. They know they mustn’t get too muddy!
