Anti-bullying workshop Year 1 7.11.17
Today in year 1 we had a workshop on anti-bullying. We watched a puppet show with the theme ‘All different, all equal’ and we learnt about the importance of respecting others and always being kind.
The children really enjoyed the show and we had lots of discussion back in the classroom about what the show was about and what we have learnt from this.
What was your favourite part of the workshop?
Can you remember what we learnt from the workshop?
Year One had a fantastic introduction to the school’s anti-bullying week with a workshop this afternoon.
During the workshop, they were fully engaged and involved in a story performance, which told them about what bullying is and how to recognise it.
They learnt all about how to be a good friend and what to do if they ever felt like they or a friend are being bullied.
We are all winners!
How lucky are we that we have the exciting performance and workshop delivered by Nicole from The NED Show! Really positive, encouraging and self-esteem building vibe in the hall with everyone so excited and engaged about the message given…..
Never give up!
Encourage others!
Do your best!
What are you working towards? What are you wanting to be better at? Who could help you?
How do you feel when you encourage others and how does it make them feel?
