Year One trekked into the woods Yesterday where they were treated by two members of the Green Team and two Rangers.
We all spent time surveying the area for litter and were presently disappointed. We saw more litter on the roads than in the nature reserve so we discussed why that might be.
Later we worked with the Rangers and scavenged for items that might keep dormice and squirrels alive through the winter.
All the children were gifted with a happy log to place in their garden and watch which animals might come to live in the holes.
A big thank you to everyone involved in the day and the parents who came along to help out.
