In our literacy today, Maple Class have been looking at an exemplar autobiography text as part of our continued Me, Myself and I learning focus.
We looked at and discussed the example text very carefully and dissected it as a class. Specifically, we looked closely at the language, vocabulary, structure, presentational features and content of the autobiography example.
What did we find out about Jessica’s life so far? What information did she share first? How old was she when her brother was born?
We then began thinking about the journey of our own life so far and started to create a ‘map’ of our life so far.
Tell someone at home the first thing that happened in your life. What happened after that? How old were you when you started school? What was the name of your first friends?
What other information did Jessica share in her autobiography of her life so far?
