Palm Class have been busy handling data about their favourite minibeasts.
In groups, we collaborated to collect information to find out which minibeasts we liked the most. How did we collect this information?
We initially recorded the results on a tally graph. Can you remember how to write a tally chart? What happens when you reach 5?
After that, we applied our data handling skills by presenting the tally chart data in a different way.
We created block graphs to show which minibeasts were the most popular within our groups.
Which minibeasts were the most popular? Which were the least favourite? By how many more? By how many less?
Explain your top tips to someone in your family about collecting data and how it can be presented and what it shows.
