Year 2 were incredibly excited for their school trip to Coombe Valley Nature Reserve to do a litter pick. They trundled down the hill with smiles on their faces not knowing how much rubbish they would find. Straight away they noticed a bin that had tipped over and emptied its contents on the road and pavement, but further on down they saw the bin men collecting it all and recycling it.
Upon arriving at the nature reserve, we were split into two teams, one was to go food hunting for squirrels and dormice whilst the others did a litter pick. Everyone had a great time.
