Forwards, backwards, 1/4 turn to the right, 1/2 turn to the left, 3/4 turn clockwise and 1/4 turn anti-clockwise… just some of the directional language and vocabulary we were using today in Palm Class.
In our maths, we have been learning how to program the Bee-Bots by giving them direction instructions. Today, we replaced the Bee-Bots for our friends and attempted to direct them around some playground obstacles!
How did it feel not being able to see where you were moving and having to rely on the directions from your friend? What were the most helpful types of instructions? Did you prefer giving the directions or following the directions?
