Palm Class said hello to Harry the hamster!
We were all very lucky to see Harry the hamster today, because he usually prefers to come out at night time. He was super cosy in his warm bed and enjoyed peeping out to see us in-between sleeping!
We discovered hamsters are not quite as wriggly as rats and how we can let them walk from one hand to the other.
We also found out which food hamsters like to eat and we were very amused to notice how short his tiny tail was!
We discussed how important it is to hold your pet every day to get it used to being held and make it tame. Harry was so light to hold and tickled our hands with his tiny paws.
Thank you Josh, for bringing your lovely hamster to Palm Class today.
