Today in Palm Class, we have been reflecting on our final dinotastic dinosaur models. In particular, we have been thinking about which features we have been especially pleased with and the reasons why we were happy with those parts.

We also considered which parts of our models we might do differently, if we were to build our dinosaur model again. Some of us said we would like to create shorter legs, sharper teeth, more horns, longer tails and bigger claws or even add some wings!

We reflected on how we could make these improvements to our dinosaurs. Some of our suggestions included using more newspaper or cardboard to create longer body parts, or putting even more Modroc onto the model in a lumpy way, to create scales for the dinosaur skin. Other improvement suggestions included cutting out taller triangles, to stick in the dinosaur’s mouth for super sharp teeth!

We also reflected on the colours we had chosen to paint our model dinosaurs. Some of us considered possibly changing the colours or patterns, to allow their dinosaur to be more camouflaged!

Excellent reflections Palm Class!
