Over the next 3 weeks you must complete an activity/series of activities that total at least 15 points. How you choose to do so is up to you! For Friday 18th October

The children have been learning about the USA, from iconic people to the different states. On Friday 18th the children will be bringing the topic to a close with an American Party.

For the party, we would like the children to produce a dish they can bring to share with their class. They will need to:

*Research an American dish

*Create a shopping list (they could practice their adding skills)

*Get the ingredients from the shop

*Prepare and make the food

For their SOLE books, we ask the children to create a collage of the different stages – they could draw the stages or take photos.

Examples of the foods the children could create are:

*Chicken Pot Pie

*Minnesota hot dish

*Nebraska handheld meat pies

*Natchitoches meat pie from Louisiana

*Hot dogs

*Key lime Pie
