|Potion Christmas Shopping
At Christmas, the wizards and witches need to look in the Spellgos Catalogue to buy their friends some presents.
Can you create a page from this catalogue? Think about what wizards and witches might buy …… it could be a broomstick 9000, or a complete set of potion bottles.
Collect 5 labels from empty bottles around your house. Can you write down the imperative verbs, powerful words and draw the symbols that can be found on them.
1 hour (split into at least three chunks) of TT Rockstars.
Choose 5 words from the year 3/4 spelling list and practice in the style of personalised spellings (rainbow write, pyramid write or bubble write).
Design and draw your own potion bottle. Think about what makes your bottle so brilliant and what your potion is called.
As part if TT Rockstars, Numbots brings in all other areas of maths. The children have experienced it for the first time this week and have seen how it works. Starting at the bottom, the children have to work through challenges to earn coins.
Please note the levels get harder the more they complete. Every child starts at level 1.
