|Year 4 Home Learning
Friday 12th May; To be completed by Wednesday 17th May
|ICT – Coding
All the children have now had a go on our new Chromebooks, which have been funded by the PTA. For home learning this week, we would like you to continue challenging yourself on Code Studio (From PC, Tablet or iPad) or Scratch (Just PC/Mac).
The children have all been given passwords for Scratch, but if they are unable to remember them they all follow the pattern below. Also you can access all of Scratch without logging in, it just means you will be unable to save any work you have produced.
Password: firclass or redwoodclass
The username and passwords are case sensitive, so the start of your first name and surname have capitals and no space in between them. The password is all lower case.
PLEASE NOTE: With more common names, we have added a 4 at the end of the username. So try this if you are finding it hard to login.
If you do run into any problems, please see Mr Pattison on Monday as he is more than happy to help.

Reading: Remember that you should be reading on a daily basis at home, and should be discussing this reading with an adult – talking about the text, commenting on the author’s purpose, noticing particular features of certain genres, etc. In reading record books, please could children/parents write a comment about this reading.
Spellings: Remember to spend time daily learning your spellings – will you earn both of your raffle tickets next week?
|Please remember that each section of the home learning is 30 minutes (1hr in total). If you get stuck, please come and ask your teacher for assistance.|
