Reading

Ideally, please encourage your child to read every day for at least 20 minutes. The minimum expectation is that your child should be reading for 15 minutes five times a week. This reading should be a mixture of independent reading and reading alongside an adult.

In the last couple of weeks of term, as we begin our latest unit of work – ‘Let there be light’, we will be moving on to learning about light. Please take your time to investigate light – particularly sources of light and how we see things – and write a reflection on what you have learnt.
