|Year 4 Home Learning – Friday 4th May 2018|
Ideally, please encourage your child to read every day for at least 20 minutes. The minimum expectation is that your child should be reading for 15 minutes five times a week. This reading should be a mixture of independent reading and reading alongside an adult.
See attached spelling sheet.
The science focus is rocks as part of our current topic. There are many child friendly videos that explain about rock types and how they are formed. After researching and/or watching the videos, make a poster of the main findings to share back in class before we carry out a range of science investigations next week.
To follow on from what we’ve been doing in class, please select challenge level A to C depending on ability – The focus is to estimate answers by rounding and to check answers using inverse operations. Please show your working and set it out like the example on the sheet.
