What a fantastic morning had by all of year 5!
The sun was out, the sky was blue, and year 5 ventured down to the beach to capture the sights, sounds and smells of Teignmouth seafront in preparation for their Big Write on Friday.
Not only did they do that, but they also created their own sea defences, and explained how a Tsunami is created and what it does to a coastline.
I was so impressed with their engagement with their learning and enthusiasm to explain about sea defences, tsunami’s and earthquakes.
Many members of the public also commented on how well behaved they were, especially with the long walk, and stated ‘what a credit to the school they are’
Well done Year 5
