Year 6 ‘Holes’ Part 1 29.9.16

Today, all children in year 6 developed their drama¬†skills as part of our trip to the beach. After being introduced to Louis Sachar’s gripping novel: ‘Holes’, the children had to get into the role of the characters (naughty children who are sent to a camp and treated unfairly) and dig holes as a punishment. As you can see by many of their facial expressions, they had to consider how the children would feel in that environment.

Even though the main objective of the trip was to get into character and imagine how tough life would be at the camp, our pupils thoroughly enjoyed digging the holes and had a fantastic day!
