This afternoon Year 6 have been really working hard on their SOLE work showing a growth mindset and an iCan attitude. Activities included replicating a Wassily Kandinsky piece of art that really considers what emotions the colours represents.
Another activity included researching facts about Kandinsky or Beatriz Milhazes in preparation of writing a biography about them.
Others were considering the UN Conventions – Rights of a child – and how they related to our topic text of Holes by Louis Sachar and what they considered to be ‘wants’ or ‘needs’.
All were focused, on task and showing our school’s learning values of being resilient, taking a risk, working collaboratively as well as being resourceful. Well done Year 6, keep up the good work!
